Our mission
The mission of AdaptiveMeteo is to foster awareness and understanding of the connection between “We” and our environment, by means of technological innovation and education.
The company emerged as a result of a serendipitous encounter between two physicists from distinct generations. The first physicist made the deliberate choice to return to Italy and contribute their expertise gained from two decades of research conducted overseas. The second physicist, on the other hand, was inspired by the prospect of unleashing his potential and embracing professional opportunities beyond the confines of academia.
Our Services
Space activity
Ground sensors
Our primary objective is to assist clients in real-time monitoring and analysis of weather variables. Through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence, we strive to enhance the accuracy and reliability of low cost ground sensors, to provide comprehensive weather monitoring services for temperature, humidity, wind, and precipitation.
Satellite meteorology
We specialize in offering a range of services including weather forecasting, monitoring severe weather events, and conducting climate trend analysis. With a team of skilled data analysis experts, we provide tailored solutions to cater to the unique requirements of our clients.
Our projects
AdaptiveMeteo exploits the experience accumulated in ten-year collaborations with American university centers to create a new system for assimilating high spectral resolution satellite observations into forecasting models.
In addition, AdaptiveMeteo invests in the creation of sensors for environmental monitoring, which are low-cost and adaptable to user needs.
Mirto
Development, implementation, and validation of a system to make hyperspectral satellite data more easily usable in weather forecasting models. Collaboration with University of Hawaii Monoa.
WIND4SPACERIDER
Study for the four-dimensional characterization of wind fields in French Guiana. Collaboration between ESA, AdaptiveMeteo, Himet, within the framework of the activities of the Sapienza University of Rome.
RADIOMETOP
ACDS
Visualization of climatic weather data and comparison between forecasts and observations. In-house activities.
radiosatmet
Operational forecasting system for the management of communication with geostationary satellites.
ICARO
Development of systems for atmospheric monitoring with low-cost sensors. In-house activities.
